Social Councelor

Activities associated with the job include interviewing and providing social counseling for clients in programs such as adult protective services, maternal and child health counseling as well as individuals with disabilities, implementing service plans that identify goals for addressing the needs or concerns of clients and coordinating the delivery of services for all identified needs. Job related duties require graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or closely related field; considerable experience assessing the behavioral and psychological needs of individuals of all ages; ability to develop and implement appropriate interventions and service plans to meet existing behavioral and psychological needs and excellent analytical, planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.
