Central Dispatch E911 went online serving the citizens of Sevier County on January 10th, 2002.
The Mission Statement of the Sevier County Central Communications Center is to: provide the vital connection between the citizen request for police, fire or medical assistance; accurate identification of the caller's location and the public safety need; and the prompt and professional activation of the proper public safety services. We will continually strive to provide superior communication support to the responding public safety agency and when indicated, we will provide appropriate, life-saving, pre-arrival instructions in a competent and conscientious manner. We recognize the need for continuing education of the public on the vital importance of the proper use of the E911 system. We also recognize that our ultimate success in this mission is tied directly to the spirit of cooperation and teamwork between the consolidated public safety agencies, the E911 communication center staff and the residents and visitors of Sevier County. 

Services Provided:
  • Central answering point for all 911 calls placed from the City of Sevierville and all County jurisdiction areas.
  • Receive calls and dispatch appropriate emergency response
  • Give pre-arrival emergency medical instructions to the public
